2008 Day Three Hundred Two

The clocks in our house have fallen back. It will now start to get dark earlier. Up here in the northwest that sometimes means real early like between 4:00 and 4:30. When I was young and single I loved that. Now I feel like going to bed before 8:00. Here it is tonight at 4:45 already staring to get dark.

We had our Day of the Dead feast and remembered all who had passed before us. I made the whole turkey dinner with apple crisp for dessert. Now we all stuffed. M is watching tv, DK went back to bed and I'm here. Besides cooking I have been making earrings and did catch Obama's speech from Ohio. He gives me so much hope that we may actually win this time. Tuesday night will be a long night.

Its been a great weekend. Hope everyone else had a nice one too.

It's snowing here again.
The flakes are fluffy and floaty; making for a soft blanket. Everything has a clean look, the kind of thing the nation needs after Tuesday.

Hope is on it's way! I'm excited!

I'm so nervous I can't concentrate, and I haven't slept since Friday.

Good thoughts guys, good thoughts.

Tuesday night has been a picnic !!! That redhead in your posting look like my wife Kathleen did when I met her. 18 yrs later she looks even better now ! Funny, I feel like the albatross sunk like lead into the sea as the poem says. Adios Cheney and Bush, entre vous O and Joe !!!!
