2008 Day Sixty Seven

Thanks Betty for the very cool award. You are such a good friend.

Today was another average Thursday. After work I returned my library books, went to Walmart and stopped at Michaels and bought the hooks to make the lanyards.

I watched American Idol. Again, I must not like the songs from the 80's because I wasn't too impressed with any of the girls. I think Simon has a little crush on Brooke. I didn't like her version of Love is a Battlefield, but Simon raved on it. Tonight we will see who gets kicked off.
Found this poem while surfing around. As you all know I am not that religious but I do like St. Francis.

PRAYER OF PEACE

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life

Saint Francis of Assisi (1181-1226)

Showing my age here, but I love 80's music. I actually like Brooke this week. The one girl that was kicked off, she did a good Britany impression..I can't remember her name, but I didn't like the song she picked, but she had a great voice.

You're welcome for the award. You are deserving of that as I love to visit you. You post such interesting pictures, and we seem to have some things in common. I like American Idol, too. I am not sure which girl you are staying that you think Simon has a crush on. Is it the blonde girl who wore her hair long and curly?

Have a good weekend. I hope you get lots of rest.
