2009 Day Thirty Eight

It snowed yesterday, but, today might get up to 40 degrees. That's good because I have to get out today and run just a few errands. But most of the day I am going to do housework, make jewelry and watch movies. Just a normal weekend for me.

The Admiral at It's A Mad, Mad, Mad World got me to thinking about Leonard Nimoy. I was never a big Star Trek fan, but, I did watch it throughout the years. So I went surfing to see what he is doing now. I found Nimoy's photography website and was amazed and enchanted by his photos. here is one of my favorites:

I also loved the full bodied photos. I love how he makes women, no matter what size, look beautiful.

That is a perfect way to spend a weekend with weather like that.

I have a similar Saturday planned. Color and cut my hair, clean house, and read blogs.

We still have mounds of filthy snow and ponds of melted snow, but warmish temps and rain scheduled. I'm thinking Spring might me be a little early this year. But I've thought that in years past and been fooled. Still, I dream.

Never really into the Star Trek scene as I believe the "fanatics"(being kind by using this term) turned me off. Poor guy got stuck with that whole Spock identity and probably enjoys being himself with a camera. I did see that there is a movie coming out about the early days of the Star Trek characters. I may have to see that...live long and prosper Linda.

I didn't realize Nimoy was such an accomplished artist! And I'd have to agree, that black and white is astonishing! In fact, I'm sitting here trying to figure out how he lit it to get those effects. Really amazing.

I don't think there much between mine and your weather.
I actual like star trek but never new about Leonard Nimoy photographs and went over and took a quick peak at a few of them.
To me they have some artist a way about them.

Coffee is on.

we finally caught a break here and it got to 60 yesterday.
I may have to out my golf clubs in the car today in case I accidentally drive by the golf course!

Enjoy your weekend

Isn't Nimoy an incredibly talented man?

I hope you're having a lovely weekend. It's beautiful here. I may get out to take some photos later.
