I thought I was on track and getting this disease under control. I woke up late and did not have time or energy to get on the treadmill. So the levels were higher than I expected. So depressing. So tomorrow I start all over again.
Today Linda, my boss took our team to
Olive Garden for lunch. It was fun. We all ordered the very same thing the lunch special of all you can eat soup, for us the chicken gnocchi soup, salad and breadsticks. I did not have any of the bread but the soup was so good and the salad was perfection. We were all food stunned when we got back to the office and I must admit it was not our most productive afternoon.
I bought a ticket for the Diabetes Trade Show and Luncheon for tomorrow, but I really don't want to go. Main reason I don't want to go by myself. I probably would learn alot and Deb says they give out lots of freebies. I may still go...just sitting on the fence.
Hope everyone has a nice Friday night. Starting to get windy and cold here.

Hang in there, girlfriend... Every day is a new day, yes?
I sure hope you find energy and motivation to go to the show.... I frequently don't look forward to something and then when I drag my arse there, I'm glad I did!
Here's to a good weekend!
You should go. You'll likely meet people there and they share a commonality (is that even a word?) with you. Here I am; the most reluctant person to do stuff on my own. It's probably the main reason I know virtually NO-ONE here; but I just want to be a good friend to ya!
I'd go, and if you get nervous; just call me!
;)
Linda GO please
Let me know what you learn...I would like to go and would enjoy knowing what they have to say
Linda
energy is other people?
go to the show. and you won't be going alone. all of us will be with you!
Go, Linda. And I hope you feel better soon.
Hi Linda,
Is your diabetes out of control, too? Did you read my recent post talking about what happened to Ed the first full day we were on the ship? Very scary.
Have a good weekend.
Hey Linda! I wish you would have mentioned the Diabetes Trade Show to me on Friday, I'd not heard about it. I would have gone with you. I imagine it's a little late now, but I just got home from running errands all day. I'm dealing with "pre-d" diagnosis and trying to stay on the straight and narrow, & the show sound like it would have been interesting. Did you end up going?
My blood sugar is almost always high when I wake up in the mornings. My diabetic counselor tells me that I'm probably one of those rare people whose pancreas overproduces when I fast for a long time, such as when I'm asleep. Go figure. Sounds like you may one of those lucky people too.
Hope you get everything under control and leveled out soon. My meds have made a world of difference in how I feel now compared to before I started the metformin.
Happy Sunday, hope it's a good one for you. :o)
Hugs,
Diane
