Several years ago, I lived in Boone, NC (which is in the NW corner of the state, mere minutes from both VA and TN), where the climate is a good deal colder than here.
One year we had snow on a fairly regular basis, up to and including the first weekend of June. The old-timers there talked about a snowfall on summer solstice one year.

I live in Spokane, WA. I've been married for 24 years and have 2 shihtzu's. I am a Trust Representative at a Third Party Administrator. Politically I am a liberal democrat but always open for discussion and usually always roots for the underdog. I am non religious but believe people have the right to believe in what they want to believe. I love and adore my husband and family, including my two little dogs, proud of my children and enjoy and cherish my friends.

thank you so much for your comments about my Mom and the car.
I too feel we are kindred.
Sorry to hear it is still snowing there but all bad things come to an end!
Hope you have a great Tuesday!
I can't believe you are still getting snow. I know you are sick of that stuff.
Nice pictures. I enjoyed them as usual.
