2008 Day One Hundred Ninety One

This was the worst day ever at work. I am not a crier. It takes alot to make me cry, but, today after 9 calls in a row from ugly, rude people I cried. I made a decision that this has to stop. I knew right then I can not do this anymore. I have to go somewhere else. And maybe this happened so I was able to accept an opportunity that came my way this afternoon. I got the call I've been waiting for. More money, not a call center, weekly pay, working in accounts receivable for a window manufacturer. I told Dianne I could start on Tuesday. She said Crystal will call me back with all the details. Now I just have to decide how to quit. Any suggestions?

I'm on vacation!!! How wonderful is that? The plans for these 5 days is beading, picture taking, relaxing, cooking, bbq'ng and just enjoying not working.

I am making tacos tonight with a pitcher of Bloody Mary's. I'm going to celebrate going on vacation and to my new adventure.

Thanks to all of you that have given me your support. It has mean't alot to me and I do love all of you.

ps..the picture is not me, but, just how I feel today. Kind of piratey..

Sound like things are looking up for you.

I'm not sure what the right way to quite a job.
I've been told it popular to give then a two week notice but on the other hand when one get fired they don't give you a two week notice.

Enjoy your time off.

Sounds like you've had a nice day today, Linda, but I'll bet you are a little tired from all the running errands.

Enjoy your vacation. I want to call you soon. Let me know when is a good time.
