2008 Day Eleven

Streets were clear driving to work. How nice was that? 7 people called off on Jim's team today. He cancelled his meeting because he only had one person who showed up for work that was scheduled for the meeting. He cancelled, my supervisor called an emergency meeting in his meeting's place. More info on the stinking ID cards. Ok we get it, or maybe not. I'm just so happy its Friday and I have 2 days to be free of that place.

One good thing I got the vacation time I had requested in July. So the trip to Sisters, Oregon for the Outdoor Quilt Festival is on! M requested that time off also and got it approved.

What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?

My middle name is Saoirse. If I could change my name I would change my first name to Dixie or Fiona.

If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?

I would use the wonderful colorful fabrics from India, bejewled fabrics and velvet and I would throw in my favorite print of paisley designs.

What is your least favorite chore, and why?

Mopping floors. Its back breaking work and I just hate it.

What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?

I have a fear of falling. I truly believe in a past life I died from falling from a a high place. I sometimes dream of it, but always wake up before I hit the bottom.

I am sitting at my desk in our home office. My little rubber ducks lined up on my printer, my bead-a-day calendar and my name plate my father in law Chris made for me.
