2008 Day 7

It snowed overnight, but the main roads were sprayed, so driving to work wasn't bad. It was bagel day at work. It snowed pretty hard all morning. Lots of snow to sweep off my car when i finally got out of there. And was I ever happy to leave. Call after call after call.

M went to 2 doctor appointments this morning. One to the physical therapist and one with the orthopedic surgeon. No shoulder surgery needed! Yeah!

I did not feel like cooking, so I stopped at Burger King on my way home. I had 2 for 1 coupons to use. Does anyone else think the Burger "King" is just way too creepy?

We have been watching Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. This guy will eat or drink anything! The episodes we watched is when he travelled to Korea and Vietnam.

I just looked out and it has stopped snowing. A break before the next wave hits.

More great pictures. I ate at Burger King yesterday, first time in a long time, and I didn't think the sandwich I normally get there was quite as good as usual.

Yeah, I think he's meant to be creepy. That's his whole appeal.

I wish the snow would just go away!

Eeek! That giant Burger King head with the ghoulish smile totally freaks me out!! I can't watch those commercials - they give me nightmares. The husband thinks it's hilarious.

And Tony Bourdain rocks! I just watched the new episode from yesterday about Singapore. I think Vietnam is my all-time fave, though... I always laugh when the guy tells him he's eating "squeasel"(or would it be "squeezle"?).

Creepy, yes! Totally creepy. My fiance and I talk about how they should ditch that campaign just so we don't have to look at that disturbing plastic head on the TV anymore.

The owls are fabric, by the way. Thanks for asking! :-)

I've got a major crush on Tony Bourdain. The bad boy of gourmet. I saw him once in the city. He was coming out of a bodega with a cup of coffee. A man after my own heart. It's nice to know that even the foodies grab a cup at the corner store now and then.

Yep. He is very creepy. The commercial where the ladies are trying to run him down are funny though.

Thanks for your visits!
